1. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!! Make sure you read the instruction manual BEFORE using your appliance for the first time. Failure to do so might damage your product which will invalidate your warranty.

2. As with all washing machines, FACE IT 2-IN-1 performs best on fresh stains. If your makeup brushes are old, damaged, with heavy, long-term stains and makeup build-up, we do not encourage using FACE IT 2-IN-1 to clean them as you will likely not see the intended result. Instead, we encourage that you discard such old tools and replace them with new ones which you can care for with the consistent, effortless cleaning that FACE IT 2-IN-1 is designed for.

3. Use near a kitchen, bathroom or laundry room sink for easy access to clean water and easy disposal of used water. So, you shouldn't use in the bedroom or living room.

4. Use only tap water NOT hot or warm water.

5. Like your laundry washing machine and dishwasher, FACE IT 2-IN-1 uses only our specially formulated FACE IT cleanser for best result and to prevent damage to the appliance. One bottle is supplied with your appliance, and you can purchase saver bundles of 4 bottles below or in single bottles from our Amazon store.

6. We recommend a light rinse of the washed tools under a running tap.

7. You should always air-dry your makeup tools after washing to prolong their lives. Force drying with spinning, pressing, blow drying, drying over a heat source damage makeup hairs. Even dense brushes can dry within 24 hours if they're suspended with good air circulation at room temperature. You should have multiple sets of makeup brushes so that while some sets are drying, you have a clean, dry set to use. You can purchase below, our patented drying rack designed for the fast and efficient drying of makeup brushes and sponges.

1. Please retain the retailer’s receipt as you will be asked to provide as proof of purchase in order to claim on the warranty. Additionally, the appliance must have been used according to the instructions supplied.

2. All JOI products are individually tested before leaving the factory. 

3. In the event of any appliance proving to be faulty within 12 months of original purchase, you should contact the JOI customer support at penpals@joibeautyocial.com including the following information.

5. Where it was purchased (from your receipt of purchase)

6. Model no. (this number can be found on the back of the product)

7. Subject to the exclusions set out below, the faulty appliance will then be repaired or replaced as appropriate. 

8. If for any reason, this item is replaced or repaired during the 1 year guarantee period, the guarantee on the new item will be calculated from the original purchase date. Therefore it is vital to retain your original till receipt or invoice as proof of initial purchase.

JOI shall not be liable to replace or repair the goods under the terms of the guarantee where:

1. The fault has been caused or is attributable to accidental use, misuse, negligent use or used contrary to the manufacturer's recommendations.

2. The appliance has been used on a voltage supply other than that stamped on the product.

3. Repairs have been attempted by persons other than our service staff (or authorised dealer).

4. The appliance has been used for hire purposes or non domestic use.

5. The appliance is second hand.

6. The Lid Cleaning Plate and Tray Cleaning Plate are not covered by the guarantee.

7. Cleansers other than FACE IT Brush & Sponge Cleanser have been used.

8. The appliance washing tray was not regularly cleaned with the self-clean.

This guarantee does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage. This guarantee is offered as an additional benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
